Kingwood Islamic Center was established in 2003 as an Islamic school in northeast Houston. By 2006, through the Mercy of Allah (SWT), the community purchased 2 acres of land near Bush International Airport on Highway 59. Two office buildings were placed to serve as prayer facilities for men and women, accommodating about 250 men and 125 women. The center continues to serve as a hub for Islamic worship, learning, and community development in the Porter area. Never miss a prayer again!
