The Islamic Foundation of Lincoln was founded in 1986 as a non-profit religious organization in the capital city of Lincoln, which follows the Quran and Ahl Al-Sunnah. The mosque is owned by the North American Islamic Trust (NAIT), and it is the oldest mosque in the state of Nebraska. One of our missions is to serve the Muslims in Lincoln and the surrounding areas by helping to strengthen their Islamic faith and moral conduct to better assist their community and society.
