ROIC x OITB: Mercy Meals-Muslim Charity Events in Houston,TX

Be part of a powerful act of service and kindness. On this Saturday afternoon, River Oaks Islamic Center teams up with Outreach in the Barrio (OITB) to prepare and package 250 fresh, hot meals along with nutritious peanut butter sandwich packs for our neighbors in need.

From cooking warm, hearty dishes to assembling sandwiches and carefully packaging each meal, every task will directly impact someone’s day. This is more than just food — it’s dignity, care, and a reminder to those we serve that they are not forgotten.

Whether you’re a seasoned volunteer or joining for the first time, your participation will help spread mercy, love, and hope across Houston’s underserved communities.
