The Miraj-al-Nabi, or the ascension of the Prophet Muhammad, is a significant event in Islamic history. It is described as a miraculous journey where the Prophet Muhammad was taken from the Sacred Mosque in Mecca to the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, and then through the heavens to the highest realms of existence. During this journey, the Prophet Muhammad was given the five daily prayers, the last verses of Surah Al-Baqarah, and was granted forgiveness for believers with faith. This event is commemorated on the 27th of Rajab and is considered a test of faith for the believers at the time and an opportunity for the true believers to shine. The Miraj-al-Nabi is believed to have taken place one year before the Hijrah (migration) from Mecca to Medina, and it significantly impacted the Prophet's life and Islam as we know it.
