A fun, faith-filled summer experience for kids ages 6–13 Looking for a meaningful and engaging way to keep your child connected to their faith and community this summer? The Shadow Creek Muslim Community Center (SMCC) is excited to present its Summer School 2025, a five-week program designed to combine Islamic learning with creativity and personal growth in a nurturing environment.

Dates: June 16 – July 17, 2025 Days: Monday to Thursday Time: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM Ages: 6 to 13 Location: Shadow Creek Muslim Community Center (SMCC), Pearland, Texas Registration link: tinyurl.com/3f75zpnm Note: Limited spots available. Early registration is encouraged. Children will explore core Islamic studies, including Aqeedah—Tawhid (Oneness of Allah), the angels, the prophets, the books, the Day of Judgement, and Qadr. Lessons are engaging, age-appropriate, and designed to strengthen each child's understanding of their deen. The program also features level-based Qur’an instruction. Lower-level students will focus on the Quls, Ayah al-Kursi, and Surah Al-A’la. Upper-level students will study Surah Al-Hujurat, focusing on themes of manners, character, and community values. Students will enjoy weekly hands-on craft activities to creatively reinforce the lessons learned and make their summer learning experience memorable. Looking for Islamic events in Texas?
