This policy applies to users of CMZ services. We may collect data such as your email, and optional access to location, camera, and microphone where needed for app features, feedback, bug reports, ticket scanning, and service improvements.

We do not use personal data for unauthorized purposes. We do not sell personal data. Data is handled securely and retained only as long as needed. Users may request deletion.

2. Prominent Disclosure and Consent

We clearly explain what data is collected and why before accessing sensitive information. You must actively grant permissions before collection, and you can revoke permissions in app or device settings at any time.

3. Account Management

You can delete your account from mobile, web app, or admin portal. Once deleted, associated data is permanently removed except where retention is required by law or fraud prevention obligations.

4. Third-Party SDKs and Services

We use third-party providers only where required for service operations and payments, such as Firebase Crashlytics, Google Analytics, and Stripe. These providers process data for functionality and performance, not for unauthorized marketing use.

For donations and payments, Stripe processes payment information. CMZ does not store your full payment details. Refunds and disputes are handled according to Stripe policies.

5. Data Safety

We provide transparency about what data we collect and how it is used to power service features, including location-aware functions such as nearby masjid and prayer-time experiences.

6. Secure Data Handling

We apply robust protections, including encryption in transit and at rest, strict permission controls, and restricted data access to authorized personnel only.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

CMZ web and mobile applications, including related intellectual property, belong to ConnectMazjid and its licensors. The apps are licensed for personal use only, and may not be reverse engineered, copied, or redistributed without permission.

We may update this policy as laws and technologies evolve. Significant changes may be communicated through in-app notice or email.
